Everesting Challenge

What is Everesting

Everesting is a globally recognised endurance challenge where participants ascend and descend a single route repeatedly until they achieve a total elevation gain of 8,848 metres - the height of Mount Everest.

At Everesting for Second Chances, this physical feat represents something deeper - the uphill journey of rebuilding lives. Just as every climb demands resilience and perseverance, our beneficiaries take steady steps towards restoration, reconnection, and reintegration.

Whether completed in a single attempt or across the campaign period, every metre climbed is a symbol of progress, hope, and the belief that second chances are always possible

Whether you're a cyclist chasing long climbs or a runner building elevation step by step, Everesting for Second Chances welcomes you to participate in your own way.
